It was a dark and stormy night…

Sorry, when I get behind the typewriter I always get the urge to type that. So, it’s time for another installment of The Buck Stops here. Mom’s been looking into a lot of products lately. But, she always seems to miss the really fun toys. I’m not saying that the catch a bubbles aren’t fun. It’s just that Mom tends to miss the important basics of dog toys.

What did she miss this time? Why, one of my most favoritist toys ever! The Sock!

So, what’s so great about this toy? Well, let me explain how I like to play with it. The first thing you have to do is find a convenient laundry basket. If there isn’t one, find an inconvenient one. And, if your Mom is like mine, even that may not be an option. In this case, go for Dad’s dirty clothes pile. You’ll always find a couple of socks in one of these places.

After locating a sock it’s very important to steal it quickly and quietly. Then you run like you stole something. Because, well… you did. After that, feel free to throw it in the air, whip it back and forth, and run around like a crazy dog.

Sooner or later, Mom will see me and ask me to drop it. And that’s ok.

So, to review:
Steal it!

Run around with it!

Act like a crazy dog!

Drop it for a treat!

This is buck signing off. Happy sock hunting!
