buck_types6.jpg It’s time for another edition of The Buck Stops Here. I know it’s been a while since I posted. I have to apologize to all my fans out there. I was detained by all the ball playing, dirt digging and sock stealing that presented itself. That stuff doesn’t get done on it’s own you know!

So, my topic today is about something serious. I wanted to let you know about a very dangerous thing that’s going on.

Over the summer, I’m fairly sure that Mom and Dad had sharks in the pool.

In fact, I’m convinced there were, but Mom and Dad don’t seem to think so. So, I did what any responsible JRT would do. I hoisted the main sail and set out in search of sharks. And what better way to look for sharks than to become a pirate?

I want to make it clear, that I don’t like water. I really hate getting wet. I hate the word bath, and I know when they are spelling it. But, I figured as long as I can be out on the water with Mom and Dad, I can keep them safe from sharks.

My first act as pirate was to steal a boat. Luckily there were some just sitting around. It didn’t take me long to get it sea worthy.

Unfortunately, the high seas aren’t the safest place for a russell! I had to fight deadly currents and grueling storms. Being a pirate isn’t for the faint of heart.

After a while, I got down to some serious shark hunting. I floated all around looking for them. I knew Mom and Dad weren’t safe until I had pirated the whole pool looking for them.

Dad started calling me Captain Bucks. At the end of the journey, I didn’t end up seeing the shark. I suspect it ran off while I was commandeering my ship. But, I did end up having some fun with my parents. So, I guess it all worked out.

At least, nobody got eaten by sharks.
